PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The "Applied Journals of Management and Administration" is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality in the articles we publish. Our rigorous peer review process is designed to ensure the integrity, significance, and originality of the research.

  1. Initial Submission and Screening
    • Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts through our online submission system.
    • Screening: The editorial office performs an initial check to ensure the submission complies with the journal’s guidelines and policies. Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements or fall outside the scope of the journal are promptly returned to the authors.
  2. Preliminary Evaluation by the Editor
    • The Editor-in-Chief or assigned Associate Editor reviews the manuscript to assess its relevance, originality, and potential contribution to the field of management and administration. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's standards may be rejected at this stage.
  3. Assignment to Reviewers
    • Manuscripts that pass the preliminary evaluation are assigned to at least two independent experts in the field. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, and they are invited to review the manuscript anonymously.
  4. Double-Blind Peer Review
    • The journal employs a double-blind review process, where both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other to ensure an unbiased evaluation. Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
      • Originality and contribution to the field
      • Clarity of presentation and organization
      • Methodological rigor and validity
      • Relevance and significance of findings
      • Appropriateness of references and literature review
  5. Reviewers’ Recommendations
    • Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations, which may include:
      • Acceptance without revisions
      • Acceptance with minor revisions
      • Major revisions required
      • Rejection
  6. Decision Making
    • The Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor considers the reviewers' feedback and makes the final decision on the manuscript. The possible decisions are:
      • Accept: The manuscript is accepted as is or with minor revisions.
      • Revise and Resubmit: The manuscript requires significant revisions and will undergo another round of review.
      • Reject: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards for publication.
  7. Revision and Resubmission
    • If revisions are required, authors are given the opportunity to address the reviewers' comments and resubmit their revised manuscript within a specified timeframe. The revised manuscript may be sent back to the original reviewers for further evaluation.
  8. Final Acceptance
    • Once the manuscript meets all the necessary criteria and the reviewers' concerns are adequately addressed, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision to accept the manuscript for publication. Accepted manuscripts are then processed for copyediting, typesetting, and publication.
  9. Publication
    • Accepted manuscripts are published online and in the upcoming issue of the journal. Authors are notified of the publication details and provided with proofs for final approval before publication.
