Abstract

 This study  examines the internal  communication strategy at JNT Nabire and its effect on courier operational performance. The main focus  is to assess the effectiveness of communication and identify obstacles that might affect operational efficiency. The method used was a  qualitative study, with key informants consisting of  management,  supervisors, and couriers of  JNT Nabire  . The results showed that  overall, internal communication at JNT Nabire was efficient, especially in the aspect of  clarity and  timeliness  of  information. However, there are  obstacles during peak season periods, which  are characterized by  increased work volumes   and cause communication breakdowns. In addition,  the study  also found that communication training for  new couriers has not been optimal, indicating the  need for more comprehensive orientation sessions.   Communication technologies, such as instant messaging apps and  task management platforms, contribute  positively to operational efficiency.  Even so, some couriers reported technical problems affecting the  utilization of this technology. The research  suggests that improvements in  communications training and investment in IT  infrastructure can help overcome these barriers.  In conclusion,  this study shows that an effective internal  communication strategy and  the use of appropriate  technology can improve courier operational performance,  although  Note that there needs to be an improvement in training and  technology infrastructure.
